Heya WA crew

What briquettes/charcoal you all use?? Where do you source it from??

being soo far fron the eastern states I would guess the online suppliers of the common/quality bbq gear is a lil $$$$ due to freight costs

WA MALLEE CHARCOAL is proudly West Australian
and is made in WA using only WA grown plantation Mallee.

WA MALLEE CHARCOAL
is an energy dense convenient cooking fuel
is lightweight and easy to handle
burns hotter and longer than briquettes
has no fillers or additives
produces less ash
virtually free of dust and small particles
is visually attractive
is thoroughly carbonised

WA MALLEE CHARCOAL is suitable for use in any solid fuel BBQ or grill
and will give that unique Australian bush taste to any food being cooked. Charcoal made from Mallee is the preferred cooking fuel of chefs Australia wide.

We sell our charcoal in clear plastic bags so that people can see exactly what they are getting. The bags are 800mm x 550mm and weigh between 15 and 17 kg for $40
We can also offer our charcoal in 5 kg clear plastic bags for $15.

For free delivery, an order of any combination of our products must be a minimum of $200 (GST included)

It is good charcoal and we do consign to the Eastern states but freight is too costly for most people.

After last weekend, I am a Charcoal convert - Gidgee Charcoal. It kept the coal bed at constant temp for nearly 2 hours and just needed topping up with Ironbark for smoke. Love it !
