I must say that I am absolutely blown away by the support and help by members of this forum
It's a pleasure!

We're all united by a love of BBQ and eager to see it promoted whichever way possible. I really enjoyed the "education" side of the Taste festival as much as the cooking. And the people that attend those shows are foodie nuts who are dying to learn more!
One of the things we observed whilst in the US for the American Royal was, that despite the rivalry and competition between teams there was a feeling of community. The BBQ circuit is a family - because BBQ (and eating/sharing meals in general) is a family and social tradition.
I don't think any of us guys who help out feel forced to do so - we do it because we genuinely want to be involved. Thanks for giving us that opportunity!
