I would like to introduce Louisiana LG Series Pellet Grills

* SMOKE * SEAR * DIRECT GRILL * INDIRECT GRILL * ROAST * BAKE * BBQ * BRAISE * COLD SMOKE *

Image

Advantages of Louisiana LG series pellet grills are:

- Thicker Steel Body 14-gauge (1.63 mm)

- Shorter, larger diameter auger eliminates blockages

- Easily removable burn grate for quick & easy cleaning

- Switchable to C or F

- Temperature range of 170F / 76C to 600F / 315C

- Designed to direct flame grill with its adjustable and versatile "Flame Broiler"

- Full digital control with programmable meat probe

- Standard bottom shelf for added strength, stability & storage

- Proprietary exhaust system for even smoking

- Reinforced cooking lid

- Stay cool vented handle

- 2 position removable upper rack

- Non removable hopper grate ( compliant with Australian safety laws )

- Solid bottom of hopper box with no exposed wiring ( compliant with Australian safety laws ) - I would encourage anyone looking at purchasing any brand of pellet grill to look under the hopper box before purchasing.

- c e certification and C-Tick certification for Australia ( the 2nd brand in Australia to have this to be compliant for our laws )

Check here for explanation of "When is CE not CE as marked on some appliances" http://www.emcbayswater.com.au/faq/when-is-a-ce-mark-not-a-ce-mark.html

I have been now cooking on one and it has worked flawlessly and produced great results.

Looks like alot of thought has gone into the design of these grills.

I'd be pissing off that hopper grate though, what a pain in the butt!

I agree with you Jars about that grate. It's a legal requirement though, I think.

Yah it is, nanny state and what now. I'm sure it comes off easy though, like the one in my yoder... shhhh.

The hopper grate is absolutely a legal requirement for Australia for every pellet grill.

Our Australian law clearly states that the grate must be a certain distance from the auger and must be fixed in so it cannot be just lifted out without unscrewing screws etc.

Our law also states that 5kgs of upward force and 5kgs of downward force can be applied to the grate without it pulling out or bending down too far.

Not all pellet grills that are imported into Australia comply with these laws.
