Looking good mate :-) Top corner looks a little messy. Is the door sticking out a little at the bottom? Where did you get the tank from. So far I can't find one anywhere!
Does a square fire box create anything different to a round firebox?

No massive difference between square and round.
Square is easier to get right though as rounds doors can be fiddly

Nah the door isn't sticking out. Just need to beat the flat bar down a little, there is only a 2 mm gap at most there which will be seal with a gasket. There is still welding to do on the fire box. please be kind, this is the first time I've done any real welding and I'm learning as I go all stick to.

Round doors warp under heat when welding and also on first fireup. Having the right gap with hinges and making flanges evt ect is a pita with round

Finally got around to getting the frame welded up today, and ready for the wheels to go before attaching it to the tank.
