Just a update, smoker is now home in it's resting place. I did the first burn today and overall i am very happy.
The temps were good easily was able to achieve 150 degrees Celsius , in fact it actually got to 160 degrees Celsius. The only issue i had was the heat on the fire box door the top plate buckled a bit so i could not close door, this is a minor issue and easy to fix. Just need to jack it out and make it straight again then weld a angle iron on top to stop the movement.
The Cooking Chamber door was sound no movement at all.
Will fix next weekend then i can do my first cook, very confident with my build.

Yes fired it up but ran into a small issue, the plate on top of the door bowed about 3mm so i could not close door.
So i could not control temp very well, will be a easy fix and will try to do this weekend.
I put 1 bag of heat beads in and just a couple of bits of charcoal on top and had no worries getting 160 degrees Celsius even with the door not closing properly.
First cook i am going to cook a couple of Chickens with Maple syrup and spices.
