I couldn't be happier, I repurposed a wine barrel into a cold / hot smoker. This thing works a treat and it was an awesome project to build. I hope you enjoy the photos

Brilliant.
How do you use it as a hot smoker?
If you have a fire in the bottom, what stops the wood from burning?
Or better question, where do you get the heat from and what is the electric cord about?

Would appreciate a reply as have 4 wine barrels.

Thanks and cheers,
Chris.

G'Day,
I have some barrels.
Can you please tell me what you used to generate tyhe smoke.'
I note an electrical cable and some sort of divice on the side on the barrel with what appears to be a transparent tube arrangement.
would highly appreciate a reply.

Thanks and cheers,
Chris.

This looks like really high quality build. Great work.

Are you able to post a picture of the insides (i.e. below the grate) when you get a chance?

Cheers,

BarbecuePrimer
