As per title here is what I got up to today.
Flew my multicopter (6 motors) around the local park next to the golf course.
I chased down a golfer which was amusing :)

This looks very similar to the ones used at the 20/20 Cricket this year. Looks like great fun :)

We (me n Youseff) use to race nitro off road: 1/10th & 1/8th scale.. That was a lot of fun! But playing with real cars and RC cars is expensive...

The 20/20 cricket ones are the s800 which is the next model up (8 motors)
I'm slowly upgrading untill I have perfect stable video then I'll put on a gimbal for full manual control of the camera

hobbyking is where ive bought most of my stuff.
they dont sell the DJI stuff but there are heaps of DJI dealers all over the place.

Im starting to learn to program the miltiwii controller so i dont have to rely on the Naza controllers (too expensive but bloody easy to use)

my copter is made up of the following parts.
all these parts are off the shelf but there really isnt a "brand" to my multicopter. I suppose it is based on a DJI frame

MULTICOPTER

FLIGHT CONTROLER : DJI Naza + GPS module - 2nd hand buy
MOTORS : Turnigy Park450 Brushless Outrunner 890kv - hobbyking
ESC : Hobby King 20A ESC 3A UBEC x6 - hobbyking
BATTERIES: 2x 5000mah 3s - hobbyking
Rx/Tx: Spektrum dx8- arkrc
FRAME: DJI F550 - arkrc
LANDING GEAR: Old heli a mate had - free
Props: Cheap 10x5 ones - Hobbyking

FPV GEAR:
HEADSET : Fatshark Dominators -HOBBYKING
CAMERA: Gopro960 - FREE
VIDEO RX/TX: 900mhz 200mW - HOBBYKING
BATTERY: 3000mah 3s

obviously there are a lot of wires, screws, plugs ect but thats my main setup
still to come / Build

FPV OSD - see RTH, signal strength ect ect
Landing Gear - i want to have better langing gear so i can have the camera mounted better
Graupner Props - remove jello from camera
Camera Gimbal - for better fpv experience
Clover Antennas - Better 360 range
Eagle Eyes FPV Station - dual antenna setup for direction and omni antennas (3-4km range)
Dragonlink - better range of my existing radio controller
