We (me n Youseff) use to race nitro off road: 1/10th & 1/8th scale.. That was a lot of fun! But playing with real cars and RC cars is expensive...

Did you ever buy gear from Vaggs in Miranda?

Yeah a little bit mate... But they were expensive and didn't really support the brand we were racing. Import from the US was the best option for us by a long shot! A Main hobbies, stormer, tower etc

Yeah i wasn't really into that scene much. One of my best mates from schools Dad owned the joint. Didn't mind doing the odd model from there however.

fair effort with a shotgun.

there is only about 5cm^2 of component that you could hit to take the plane down.
as for the quad....yea a shotgun would take that down fairly easy

Wow

Whats the difference between that and phantom4? Is it the phantom is like a plug and play thing with apps and shit?

Im guessing yours is a no frills pro unit yeah?

there is a few differences

the phantom 4 has the propeller in the shot when flying forward
the inspire 1 can turn its camera left/right where the phantom 4 can only tilt up/down and side to side
the inspire 1 can have its legs retract up

Flight time and speed.

the camera resolutions are the same on the base model vs the phantom 4 pro

the inspire 1 can have a 2nd remote where one person flies and the other controls the camera
there are a few other differences but these are the main ones

Damn that is a good bit of kit! I'd love a drone one day, but I'll probably end up with something like this

I can just imagine what that would have cost you!
