For years, I've wanted one of these. Perhaps the slick advertising suckered me in? Who knows. But I never got around to, or could justify the $20 or whatever on ebay for one.
So had to go to a funeral in Alexandra yesterday, (Country Victoria) and after the service the missus and her sister wanted to look around the Op shop.
So I dragged my feet in there bored stupid, and prepared myself for at least an hour of them looking at, and trying on, everything.
I walk in to the section full of junk, and I see it sitting there, with golden rays of sunlight shining through the window on to it.
For $4. :o And it also came with the "Graty"
He'll yeah, that's mine. Also found a big cake tin for $2. So 8 was happy to hang around the shop until they'd finished.
Get home, bring it inside, and a little, very tiny bit disappointed that it's not actually an original Slap Chop.
It says on the box, "Similar to as seen on TV". So out of the pack, grab some onions and biscuits and cheese for the Graty, and I'm in heaven. Family is eating slap chopped food for dinner tonight.
