Hey guys,

Bit of a noob here, I have had a bit of a look through the forum and tried to do a bit off searching but have come to a bit of a dead end.

In the past I was a direct smoker, using a Weber kettle bbq, And I am now trying to advance my self and was looking between a offset charcol smoker and a traeger pro series 34 ( Electric smoker )

So I am just wanting to know if not having the charcoal makes a huge difference to flavour or taste or the cooking of it in general compared to the electric smokers

Any information or help would be great
