Yes apparently the new Primos have this new gasket and new thermometer :-) so no having to change it over :-)

Good to hear. I'm taking delivery of mine early next year. Read a lot on the Primo forums about the original gasket not handling really high temps like 700f well and melting. New gasket looks like one of the high temp safe varieties that I was going to swap over to.

Mine is currently heading to 700f for grilling some steak, for the first time. So we will soon see :-) It looks pretty good so far, I think it's going to be great to cook on.

Jim, they are about 2 meters away from each other but she has a cover over her, so can't see the Primo ;-)
