Did a bit of a search on Kettle maintenance / cleaning but can't find anything.
So a couple of questions if I may ( or if there is a sticky)

The combination of food grease and ash left on the inside wall of the lower half of the kettle.
Is it corrosive so should be removed as soon as possible ?

The build up of burnt meat/fat left on the chrome grill.
Here again is this corrosive or works as a protective coating for the chrome ?

P.S if there is a sticky covering the above, please refer.
