A new butcher has opened in Gregory Hills (near Narrellan).

The Orangeville Meat Co.
They are on Rodeo Road Gregory Hills, just past Masters, other side of the road.

They stock real American pork ribs (you have to ask for them, they are not on display), Brisket, Boston Butt etc, again, you have to ask for the cuts we all want, as they don't display them!
They also stock Cape Grim beef.

The butcher there knows what he is talking about, which is a pleasant surprise.

They also have a deli, Café, and hot food, as well as having GMG grills for sale!

Luck for me, they are a five minute drive from my home.

My sentiments exactly!

As good as the Meat Emporium and Vic's are, it's too much of a hassle to get to them from Macarthur region.

I smoked some ribs I purchased today, they really are top quality, meaty and big.
The butcher told me, if I wanted really meaty ribs, phone an order a few days before going there.

I'll be getting all my meat from there now.

What a pleasure to have a local butcher who can supply the cuts of meat perfect for smoking.

I grabbed a full packer Cape Grim brisket off them a couple of weeks ago. Cooked it up on the weekend - just beautiful. They can also supply a cheaper brisket than the Cape Grim one as well.

The butcher I chatted to was very knowledgeable and every cut of meat I asked about was "no problem, we can do that" :)

They also have a deli section and an on site café which cooks up lovely low and slow offerings. A lot of their produce is local from the Macarthur region.

I noticed they also sell GMG BBQ's and pellets.

Follow them on FB - https://www.facebook.com/orangevillemeatco?fref=ts

Good to know! City is still closer for me, but it is nice to have options... great if they stock pellets too, you just never know when your going to need them!

How are their prices?

You guys in Sydney are so lucky. At this point I reckon I'm more likely to discover a leprechaun riding a unicorn than finding a butcher like that on the Gold Coast.

Not too far from Macarthur. Just over the hill in Picton. :)
