That's why I only get em started on the wok burner, then put them on the BBQ plate to carry on ashing over.

Advice is always appreciated, that's why I'm here :D

And things do go wrong quickly, my first ever cook and heated my briquettes on the wok burner, the BBQ was where it normally wasn't next to some dried up knee high weeds. We all know, those briquettes sometimes pop and send bits of hot ouchiness everywhere, drop a nice hot piece of coal right in the grass and had myself a small fire, luckily the hose was nearby.

Lesson learned!
