Is this likely to be much different from the Jim Johnson master class?

Who is Jim Johnson?

Im not sure exactly on the content of Andy's Classes as yet.

We are currently working with Tony from BBQs Plus, Andy from Stylish House & Garden in Melbourne and Meat Man ( Richard Gunner ) in Adelaide.

Cheers, Dave

From the event website:

"Jim Johnson is a KCBS master barbecue teacher and highly decorated barbecue pitmaster, having won 76 Grand Championships during his 28-year competition career. Jim has finished first in every category at the coveted Memphis in the May World Championship Barbecue on four occasions and has finished in the top ten, nine times. Jim has taught students across North America and Europe how to cook competition-grade barbecue.

During this 4 hour class, participants will learn the tips and tricks that helped Jim have such a successful competition barbecue career. The classes will focus on how to cook the four KCBS competition meats (chicken, pork ribs, pork (Boston butt), and brisket), how to prep competition boxes, manage timelines and impress the judges."

- I don't know or advocate this guy over anyone else. Am just glad to see there are going to be opportunities to learn from different American pros during the Melbourne bbq festival in January.

Andy's visit wont be during the BBQ Festival in January. More likely it will be early March.

Cheers, Dave
