great choice in grills there Tony, the primo's are a step above the rest of the kamado's. if you are going to spend the money this is the one i would recommend (with the exception of the komodo kamado...those things are art).
the ovals have the massive added bonus of 2 heat zones that most normal kamados dont have.

hope you have a demo model so we can make some pizzas that rival a dedicated pizza oven

I hope you guys are having a great trip.
Mate the XL is in the courtyard now with a brisket in it, it has been running for 10 hours so far on one feed of Charcoal they are impressive machines. I have seen the XL spit out pizza in 4-5 mins each as fast as you can make them, they make a great alternative to a built in pizza oven.

Hey Tony.

Met you briefly at the Melbourne Home show at Jeff's shed with Casey. Put down a deposit on a fully loaded Oval XL with the spotted gum table. Awaiting house build to finish before taking delivery, as rental is a bit tight and don't want furniture movers to handle a 90kg ceramic grill!

Must admit, though, I am chomping at the bit to get cooking on the primo. Still using my 13 year old webber kettle, but I know the primo will up my game.

Great work. Mate I managed to get the demo model from that show delivered to my joint, don't tell Casey. Mate last week I ran it for 25 hours on a 1/3 bag of charcoal a bit over the top I know. But I have seen grills and I have seen grills and in its class there is nothing better than the oval. XL I was and still very impressed with Primo.
